Andrew Phan
Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student
My name is Andrew Phan, and I am a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Midwestern University, in the Health Psychology track. I am going into my second year of school and will be doing my first year of practicum training here at ACPS. My areas of interests include mindfulness, positive psychology, and strengths-based approaches. Previously, I worked as a case manager at a transitional housing program assisting individuals experiencing homelessness find financial and housing stability.
Angelina Renna
Licensed Professional Counselor
Angelina started her professional counseling career working in Equine Assisted Therapy and since 2017 has worked with ACPS. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and a Master's in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She has education and experience working with people pursuing various therapeutic goals, including healing from past trauma and abuse, improving interpersonal relationships, managing challenges associated with mental and emotional health, disordered eating, substance abuse, chronic pain, grief, and developing positive self-efficacy. She provides individual therapy, group counseling, couples counseling, and family therapy.

I'm Arin, a Master of Social Work intern with a background in education and behavior intervention. I'm passionate about walking alongside kids and families as they navigate trauma, big emotions, and systems that aren't always built with them in mind.
Ashleigh Lange, LCSW
Chief Clinical and Operations Officer
Ashleigh Lange, LCSW, is an experienced Chief Clinical and Operations Officer with a demonstrated history of leading high-performing programs across inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings, as well as within child welfare systems. She brings deep expertise in behavioral health and a strong track record of driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable program growth. She has worked extensively with geriatric, adult, and adolescent populations, with specialized experience in crisis intervention and the delivery of individual, family, and group therapy. Ashleigh holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Ashley Orozco, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Ashley Orozco, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides counseling services to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use challenges, and severe mental illness. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care and creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Ashley utilizes a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach incorporating mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Brenna is a Clinical Supervisor with a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2024, is certified in DBT and trained in EMDR. She also holds a license for substance abuse counseling.

My name is Erika Herrera, and I practice as a clinician intern, bringing years of frontline experience in outpatient Serious Mental Illness (SMI) settings to my care. Having served as both a Case Manager and a Clinical Coordinator, I deeply understand the multifaceted challenges individuals and families face when managing complex mental health conditions. My work coordinating care and fostering long-term stability reinforced a core belief: no one should have to navigate these challenges alone. I draw on this foundation to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel truly heard, empowered, and equipped to reclaim their agency on their journey toward recovery.

Erika is an Intake Coordinator at ACPS, where she facilitates the intake process for clients seeking counseling services. She oversees insurance verifications and processes referrals efficiently and in a timely manner. Erika is committed to providing compassionate support and ensuring clients receive their necessary intake documentation. She finds fulfillment in helping others access the mental health care they deserve. In her personal time, Erika enjoys reading, creating art, and spending quality time with family.

I genuinely love meeting clients wherever they are and my greatest hope is to offer a safe and welcoming space to connect, heal and grow. Originally from Pennsylvania, I have called Arizona home for more than 15 years.

Hayden is an Intake Coordinator at ACPS. With five years of experience in behavioral health, he is dedicated to helping clients take their first steps toward receiving supportive mental health services. He collaborates with clinics and case managers to coordinate referrals, assess client needs, and guide individuals through the intake process. Outside of his work, he enjoys creating art, baking, watching movies, and spending time in nature.

Michael (Mike) Johnson, LMSW, is a counselor at ACPS Inc. in Phoenix, providing in-person and telehealth services to children, adults, and families. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Denver with a concentration in Health, Equity & Wellness. Mike specializes in supporting individuals navigating serious mental illness (SMI), neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity, and multicultural lived experiences. With a background spanning community mental health, group homes, and schools, he brings a grounded, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. Mike collaborates closely with clients, blending clinical modalities to meet their unique goals while holding the firm belief that clients are the true experts of their own lives. Beyond the clinic, Mike serves as Board President for the NASW Arizona Chapter and sits on the Arizona DDD Independent Oversight Committee. Across both clinical work and advocacy, he is deeply committed to human rights, social justice, and empowering marginalized communities.

Sydney earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College, where she completed an emphasis in Human Sexuality. She holds her National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in Arizona. Her clinical experience includes providing individual, family, and group therapy in community mental health and nonprofit settings, with a strong focus on 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming care, HIV/AIDS related mental health support, and trauma-informed treatment. Sydney's professional interests center on gender affirming, sex positive, and culturally responsive mental health care.
